Inuyasha is by far the greatest of the Japanese Anime. Here are

hunting for shards of crystal. However they feel about each other, they
support one another and save eachother from the attacks of demons.
Often, Kagome proves stronger and more capable than Inuyasha, but then,
she is the reincarnation of a magical priestes. She has the powers to
prove it, able to see the broken shards of the jewel when no one else
can.
Aided by a variety of humans and half-demons, including Shippo the child
fox, a bothersome talking flea, a monk of dubious moral character, and
the aging sister of Kikyo, the dead priestess, the duo enter the realms
of demons and troublesome humans, gathering pieces of the broken jewel
as they journey.
