Latin beauty, Mayra Veronica is a future star of stage, classical
dance, and acting, who developed her talents and unique character and
appeal at the Coconut Grove Playhouse and the Counterforce Actor's
Studio. Born in Havana Cuba, but overlooked in facts about Cuba, Mayra
had a natural passion and determination to succeed. Note, that quite
a few beautiful and talented women have originated from Havana, Cuba,
and made it to the United States where they have found fame and fortune.
A few examples include,
Daisy
Fuentes, whom you will remember from America's Funniest Home
Videos, and also Odalys Garcia,
actress, model and singer.
Mayra Veronica has performed as lead actress in the McCarthy Theater,
and has hosted local and national television programs for Univision,
Venevision, and Telemundo, which has brought us such stars as
Pilar
Montenegro.
Mayra expanded her talents in national commercials and appeared as the
primary host of a Miami arts and entertainment program, where she
interviewed major national and international stars in sports, cinema,
and all kinds of fashion, including exotic. Swimsuit models were soon
accompanied by a new contender for the lead. Note, that Mayra's career
has a parallel with another star who has so far eclipsed her. It is
that of Pamela Anderson, who started out
being discovered in a tight T-shirt at a football game, from where she
went to modeling, commercials, Playboy photos, to a notoriety that lead
to television sitcom roles, and ultimately to movies. Mayra would be
wise to study the growth of Pamela's career, though with her latin
roots, she has one step up on everybody else.
